Can you still remember back to your childhood days when you didn't even care about the things that were happening in your life. As long as you had food to eat, thing to use, toys to play with, you were happy. Life was not complicated then. You were not asking for extraordinary things in your life, what you cared about was how you would spend everyday with joy in your heart.

As the years passed by, we tend to grow and our needs change, or so we believe. We dream about buying a house, buying a car, longing for gadgets and hoping for a lot of success in our lives. We start worrying about our life, achievements and dreams then think of ourselves as failures which makes us lack confidence in ourselves.

As we grow older, our life seems to become more complicated everyday, right? Why does it seem that we get anxious with the things that surround us?

Although I am not deeply religious I remember hearing the following "God created man to take full control for all the things in this world." Nowadays, it is the things in this world that can be controlling us.

Whether you believe in God or not, I guess you would agree that it is us who should dominate the world, and not the world dominating our lives. Life is life and things do happen for a purpose.

What if we face our failures, is there any purpose in doing that? Yes, of course! It's a matter of being mature in our way of thinking to grasp and understand what's happening in our lives. Many times we face failures and it stops us dreaming. It is our mind which directs our life normally . If you choose to just sit the whole day while thinking about your problems, that is your business but it is not productive.

The same goes for those who view failures negatively.

It is hard to believe that even failures have a good purpose in our lives. In may hurt the moment we experience it, but in the end, we will reap the reward for it. Every failure really does provide us the reward for learning from it and being reflective. In fact, our failures are what make us a true human. Humans are not perfect in nature, right?

If you want to enjoy life, think of the things that could make you happy. Cherish those very simple things in your life. Always smile! Kiss or hug someone you treasure. Be kind. Be honest. Be positive.

Mistakes will always be part of your life. Just don't make it rule you life. Happiness should dominate you. It is a must to have something that will continuously add colors for you. Have someone to love. Look at some things to appreciate. Buy cool pets.

Happiness is always in your grasp. You can attain it, as long as you know how.
